Here is a beautifully animated tribute to the Beatles from the Why Music Matters series. I hope to see you at our Beatles Burlesque show September 15th! The child reminds me of myself when I was a kid. I "played" with the Beatles most days too.

The Beatles had some of the first songs I ever learned to play on guitar as well. I remember figuring out how to play Twist and Shout on my own--I felt utter joy when I discovered that I could reproduce that sound. Of course I was playing on a rather shoddy nylon-string kid-sized guitar, but to my ears it was close enough.
