Lessons

I create customized lessons based on your current ability and the kinds of music you love. That way you learn much faster and have more fun!

I teach most styles of guitar, specializing in rock, pop, folk, blues and jazz. I teach with a focus on learning and having fun. There isn't much point if we're not having fun!

• Beginners: I can get you started and playing your favourite songs faster than you might expect!
• Intermediates: I can help you get out of a "rut" and take your guitar playing to the next level.

My Experience

I am a full-time professional musician, performer, and teacher. I have been playing guitar for 30 years. I have performed all over North America as a soloist and a supporting musician. I also produce several musical and theatrical shows including the immensely popular, Beatles Burlesque!

Rates

The regular rate is $65 per hour or $40 per half-hour. A sliding scale rate is available for a limited number of students who are willing to make a regular commitment to the lessons. If you'd like to know more about my rates, please feel free to contact me.

Location

Lessons take place in my comfortable, heritage apartment near South Granville and West Broadway, between Kitsilano and East Van, and just a stone's throw from Downtown Vancouver.
