Blue Morris is a guitarist and guitar teacher in Vancouver, Canada. Blue creates music with a vintage rock vibe that at the same time is modern in its composition and lyrics. He turns typical songwriting tropes on their heads with unexpected stories that somehow everyone can still relate to.
His first album of original music, Unlikely Rockstars was released September 2016.
He has been a major force in bringing live music to theatre, dance, and circus in Vancouver. He is a co-producer of the theatrical circus hit "Nightmare Before the Nutcracker," and producer of Rock and Roll Burlesque, Beatles Burlesque and many others in Vancouver.
Blue was on the board of directors for the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival 2012 and 2013.
He also currently performs with The Rockwells, Elza, and freelances for other burlesque, rock, blues, and jazz groups across North America.
