This isn't one of their most famous songs, but it sure is a great one. What a beautiful use of the suspended 2 chord which rings throughout the song. Beautiful lyrics that you can really imagine in your mind, and such a melancholy groove it's wonderful to listen to on a Sunday afternoon.
Unfortunately, all the guitar chord charts I could find online are wrong, so here are the correct ones.
You could play the Dsus2 like this x00750 which I think is how he plays it. Or you could just play a standard Dsus2 in open position xx0230.

And it sure been a cold, cold winter

And I wish I been out in California

when the lights on all the Christmas trees went out

And the fields has all been brown and fallow,
E Dsus2 E
and the springtime take a long way around
D E
Yeah, and I wish I been out in Stone Canyon
Dsus2 E
When the lights on all the Christmas trees went out
D sus2 E
But I been burnin' my bell, book and candle,
Dsus2 E
and the restoration plays have all gone 'round
[Dsus2 and A for the rest of the song...]
Sometimes I think about you, baby,
Sometimes I cry about you.
Sometimes I wanna wrap my coat around you,
Sometimes I wanna keep you warm.
Sometimes I wanna wrap my coat around you,
Sometimes I wanna but I can't afford you.

Brilliant. Thanks for giving the right chords. You're right. Everyone seems to have it wrong. Would add the tuning on the record is A432. Also while he's on the sus chord he plays DABE on the 2 and 4,.
