A great fingerstyle song from Fleetwood Mac, I thought it would be nice for some of my guitar students to have an arrangement of "Landslide" that includes the melody along with the basic rhythm forms. So far this one has been a hit with my intermediate students taking lessons with me here in Vancouver.
Stevie Nicks says she wrote this song about her relationship with guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. She wrote the song while visiting Aspen, Colorado "looking out at the Rocky Mountains pondering the avalanche of everything that had come crashing down on us... At that moment, my life truly felt like a landslide."
For measures 24 and 26 use the thumb of your left hand to get the low 2nd fret for that D/F# chord.
